New autumn set menu

Now the nights are darker, longer and crisper, you may well find yourself craving those rich, hearty flavours that are so deeply bound up with the changing of the seasons.
The sharpness of mature, melted cheese, or the honeyed sweetness of roasted vegetables, strewn over a well-done steak. Now imagine indulging in all these seasonal staples while enjoying the atmospheric buzz of one of Birmingham’s most sophisticated restaurants.
With a brand-new set menu designed to complement these blustery autumnal days, Marco Pierre White on Level 25 promises to bring you a taste of those warm home comforts with a twist. Offering everything from flavoursome autumnal salads, to Marco’s succulent, trademark steaks, you will be sure to experience a relaxing dining experience like no other.
Why not start by choosing one of Marco’s specially selected autumn cocktails? For those who like to fill their weekends with some seasonal baking, there’s the Orkney Crumble or the Blueberry Pie, which each mimic the delightful blend of sweetness and acidity found in all of your favourite baked desserts. For those who lean more towards the rich creaminess of a chocolate-based dessert, there is the After Eight – a delectably drinkable version of everybody’s favourite after-dinner snack.
For starters, there’s the delicious, earthy flavours of the Welsh Rarebit, made using the highest-quality mature cheddar, English mustard and dark ale, the satisfying tanginess of the classic Beetroot & Hen’s Egg salad, served with candied walnuts and a mustard dressing, as well as the refreshing sharpness of the Lofthouse Salad, made with a picked ham hock and gruyere cheese.
True to the Marco Pierre White brand, steak is a centrepiece of the new autumn set menu, with options for main course including the Steak Haché Lyonnaise, with crisp shallots, cornichons and garlic butter, and the archetypal Butcher’s Steak and Chips, served with a creamy Béarnaise sauce and piccolo tomatoes.
Looking for something a little less meaty? Do not fret, the new menu also boasts two mouth-watering, plant-based dishes; The Creamy Polenta with aged Italian cheese and woodland mushrooms and the Gnocchi in fresh tomato sauce, which is served with a tasty fricassée of woodland mushrooms, cherry tomatoes and fresh basil.
Finally, why not round off your meal in true seasonal style with one of Marco Pierre White’s sumptuous desserts? From the Traditional Rice Pudding with Armagnac drunken prunes, to the Autumn Fruits Poached in sparkling wine and the indulgently moreish Chocolate Brownie with milk ice cream, the new dessert set menu will ensure that you leave with the pleasant feeling of fullness and warmth that is so quintessential to these long autumnal nights.
Whatever the occasion, allow Marco Pierre White to treat you to an evening of delightful home comforts this autumn. With unrivalled, panoramic views of Birmingham city centre, the company of family or friends, and an array of gourmet delicacies, you can be sure to enjoy an unforgettable night of culinary delights.
