A family day out at The Cube
We may not have had the summer we had planned, but there’s still time to enjoy the remaining weeks of the school holidays by making it a fun family day out at The Cube.
Thinking of activities to do with the kids can be difficult, especially during the summer when good old British weather means it can be sunny one moment and raining the next. Fear not, boutique bowling alley, Lane7 (Level 6), has now reopened, meaning that fun-filled family days out are officially back come rain or shine.
With nine state-of-the-art retro lanes and classic arcade games, which will have you throwing it back to the 80s with the likes of Pac-Man and Donkey Kong, there’s plenty of fun to be had for both adults and children. If you don’t fancy the arcade games, then why not challenge each other to a game of ping pong or even take to the mic in the venue’s UV-lit karaoke booth?
Plus, Lane7 is making things a little easier on the bank balance thanks to its ‘Parent Saver Offer’. Available Monday to Friday before 6pm, kids can now get two games of bowling and a milkshake for £10. We recommend booking in advance via the Lane7 website to secure your lane and avoid disappointment.
Bowling can be hungry work, so why not try The Cube’s latest tasty addition – JAQKS Chicken + Chips on Level 7? JAQKS prides itself as a fast food revolution, offering a quality-focused menu featuring freshly fried chicken and hand cut chips, as well as a selection of chicken and veggie burgers, desserts and refreshments. With JAQKS, you can be assured that the kids are well fed by giving them fresh chicken, which is free from additives. For just £4.99 you can make it a meal with a choice of rice or chips and a drink.
