DESIGNED BY THE LEGENDARY KEN SHUTTLEWORTH
The mission was clear, to create an iconic landmark that would strikingly marry Birmingham’s industrial heritage with a vision of the future. Award-winning architect Ken Shuttleworth was chosen for the project, whose world-class portfolio includes The Gherkin and Hong Kong’s Chek Lap Kok Airport.
Drawing inspiration from the city’s jewellery-making heritage, his vision for The Cube was to create “an enchanting jewellery box”, rich with light and intricate gold and bronze geometric shapes. Visit The Cube and you’ll discover a number of evocative bronze sculptures known as ‘The Lovely People’, created by renowned local street artist, Temper.

City living has never looked so good. Whether you’re looking to rent or buy, The Cube has 244 modern apartments spread across nine floors, ranging from high-level, three-bedroom duplexes to small city ‘crash pads’.
All apartments feature spacious living areas with large windows offering panoramic views across the city or out through to the courtyard.

STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY
Forget the stress of finding a parking spot in the city. The Cube has got you covered with its state-of-the-art, fully automated underground car park.
The three-storey garage has a 339 capacity and features the UK’s largest stacking system, as well as the country’s first palletless transport technology. It’s widely recognised as one of the safest and most secure public car parks available. Plus, it has one of the most energy efficient and forward-thinking systems out there, reducing the need for the constant illumination and ventilation, as required in standard underground multi-storey garages.

• Rent of a standard fob is £140.00 per month
• Rent of a large vehicle fob is £160.00 per month
SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
When it comes to shaping breathtaking architecture, The Cube doesn’t compromise on eco-design. Every detail has been considered, including the sustainable use of materials to reduce wastage and the introduction of passive features that optimise its ecological behaviour. The building far exceeds industry standards for air tightness, while a separate mechanical and electrical plant building services The Cube to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
