Corporate Member: LoveBrum
The Cube is proud to announce that it is now a corporate member of LoveBrum.
LoveBrum is a registered charity that supports ‘hard-to-reach’ causes from all corners of Birmingham, offering a platform and funding to projects that don’t necessarily receive the backing they require. Each year it aims to support over 36 projects, of varying sectors, that deliver real change with outcomes that can be seen, measured, enjoyed and loved by the community and further.
Doug Wattleworth, senior building manager at The Cube, said: “We’re always looking for ways to be part of the wider Birmingham community. To be working alongside LoveBrum in supporting local projects and charities means The Cube is able to work with likeminded people to help benefit the community. We’re thoroughly looking forward to getting involved with future initiatives and support the fantastic work the charity does.”
Kate Grantham, charity operations manager, added: “LoveBrum is passionate about bringing businesses from across Birmingham together to make the city even better, which is why we are thrilled that The Cube has chosen to support the charity. Having the company on board will help us to reach out to even more hidden-gem projects across Birmingham and impact more communities than ever before.”
Each month, the LoveBrum members vote for the cause they feel is most in need of valuable funding, from a total of three causes – the winning cause receives valuable funding and 12 months of business and marketing support. All of the money raised from individual memberships and fundraising goes straight to the chosen cause – if a cause doesn’t win, they can re-apply for funding again, until they are selected as the winning cause.
