KEEP IT HEALTHY: EATING OUT

With the start of a new year comes resolutions, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t treat yourself. Whether you’re trying to eat healthier or giving Dry January a go, there’s still plenty for you to enjoy at The Cube.
Brunch at Bardolino
When it comes to healthy eating, there’s no need to think green – it’s time to do away with thoughts of salads and replace them with visions of a delicious brunch at Bardolino on Level 6. Served between 11am and 5pm, alongside Birmingham’s famous waterways, the brunch menu includes a variety of breakfast favourites, including avocado, pancetta and poached eggs and Bardolino’s breakfast on toast featuring Tuscan sausages, pancetta, tomatoes, rosemary mushrooms and eggs.

Sushi at Shogun
There’s no easier place to discover healthy food than Shogun Teppan-yaki on Level 7. With a fresh sushi bar, noodle bowls and a little theatre with Teppan-yaki cooking, there’s not a boring flavour to be found.
Tuck into the plethora of sashimi dishes – thin slices of raw fish, served with horseradish, wasabi and soy sauce, or for those with extra time, we recommend one of the Shogun specialities. With choice of vegetarian, pescatarian and meat servings, enjoy a delicious array of authentic Japanese dishes.

Mocktails at Marco Pierre White
For those tackling Dry January, head to Level 25 and discover the mocktail menu at Marco Pierre White, so you can still enjoy a drink or two with family and friends. From the ‘Not-so-Cosmo’ served with a splash of cranberry, fresh orange, lemon and lime juice to the ‘Strawberry and Raspberry Bees Knees’ – a delightful combination of Franklin and Sons Strawberry and Raspberry with honey syrup and lemon juice, you’ll soon forget they’re alcohol-free.
