MAY BANK HOLIDAY
This bank holiday marks the return of the sun…
With the upcoming bank holiday weekend set to bring back the sunny weather, there’s never been a more appropriate time to visit The Cube. Delicious cocktails, stunning views and a unique dining experience await, on what is set to be an eventful weekend!
Start as you mean to go on…
Start the weekend by tucking into some brunch on toast at Bardolino. You can enjoy a lighter option of avocado, fresh lime and coriander with a dash of extra virgin olive oil or opt for the more filling Bardolino namesake of Tuscan sausages, pancetta bacon, grilled tomatoes, rosemary mushrooms and eggs.
A treat on the terrace…
Rumours are that temperatures could reach up to 24°C so how else to make the most of the sun than to enjoy cocktails on the terrace of Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar and Grill? We’d recommend indulging in a classic champagne cocktail; perfected in 1937, you’ll taste a fusion of Veuve Clicquot Champagne, Martell VSOP Cognac, Angostura bitters and finished with a sugar cube. With the weather likely to get you in the holiday mood, it’s worth noting that Marco Pierre White’s also do a fantastic Mexican classic – Margarita!
Brazilian barbecuing…
If the sun being out has got you thinking about having a barbecue, get yourself along to Rodizio Rico and indulge in the finest Brazilian meats, cooked fresh and served right at your table. With an accompanying salad buffet supplying plenty of South American sides, there’s more than enough on offer to get your taste buds tingling.
Italian indulgence…
If South American cuisine isn’t your thing, head next door to Osteria and delight as you eat as much pizza as you like, with some very interesting flavours on offer. The Cube’s favourites are Diavola featuring tomato, mozzarella, calabrese sausage and fresh chilli and the vegetarian Sottolio – tomato, mozzarella, artichoke and black olives.
An oriental treat…
Though warm weather and cocktails go together a treat, the same can’t always be said for warm weather and hot food. That being said, Shogun Teppanyaki is the ideal destination to enjoy some lighter dishes throughout the day. Offering freshly made maki rolls, nigiri and a fine selection of noodles, Shogun Teppanyaki has a unique and welcoming aura, perfect for this bank holiday weekend.
