BRITISH SANDWICH WEEK
The nation’s favourite lunch, stylishly perfected at The Cube.
This week marks the celebration of Britain’s favourite grab and go item – the sandwich. Whether you’re looking for a breakfast treat or a simple but tasty lunch, with a variety of flavours and fillings available, you’ll certainly not be short of options for a delicious lunchtime indulgence.
Made at Madeleine
Freshly made to order, Madeleine provides a fantastic variety of sandwiches and baguettes and is known for a delightful selection of vegetarian items.
Served either hot or cold, you can enjoy the likes of Parma ham, chicken tikka or salmon. Our recommendation? The chorizo baguette – a fusion of Spanish chorizo, cheese, red onion, tomato and salad. Vegetarians can make the most of the tasty black baguette featuring mozzarella, tomato pesto and salad, or why not have lunch on the move with an avocado, salad and mayonnaise sandwich?
Or why not treat a loved one to afternoon tea? Madeleine offers a scrumptious traditional or afternoon tea with four finger sandwiches, scones, coconut cake, fruit tartlets, macarons and dessert of the day – all served until 6pm.
Afternoon tea with a view
What could be better than witnessing stunning panoramic views of Birmingham, tucking into some wonderful afternoon tea atop level 25 of The Cube at Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill? Delve into a selection of traditional sandwiches including Wiltshire ham and mustard, cucumber and cream cheese or roast beef and horseradish. Not to mention macarons, cheesecake and carrot cake to boot – these afternoon teas are certainly not to be missed.
